Intercom on IP331, with Asterisk (FreePBX)

I am having immense difficulty figuring out how to enable intercom/paging on my PBX with IP331 phones. 

 

With 3.x firmware, I was able to page using the feature code *80XXX, which is the default settings in FreePBX.

 

In my latest install, I have upgraded to a 4.x firmware, and this is now broken. 

 

I have done alot of reserach, and tried various alertInfo values, tags, and naming conventions.  I have tried editing many Asterisk settings, and I believe I am on the right path, but I think I am missing something that has changed in firmware rev 4.x. 

 

Can someone help me get intercom/paging working on a IP331 (v4.x)?

Hello tufkal,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Please ensure that you always post the detailed Software Version as this can assist yourself and others when checking the release notes against known bugs.

 

There was an issue in the earliest UCS 4.0.x releases but the latest UCS 4.0.2 Rev B has this all working.

Thank you for your response.  I apolagize I did not give my exact software revisions and details, in the future I will.

 

The information in the link you gave did indeed fix my problem!  Paging and intercom is working perfectly, and in 1 post you fixed my problem I have spent 3 days pounding my head on my desk.  Thank you so much!
