Hi I'm using a Soundpoint 335 with a Jabra GN2100 and GN1200 bottom cord.

When I listen to recordings of my calls (I use Voipfone in the UK) it's obvious that when using the headset my voice is very muffled, and slightly boomy. Other parties have also complained I'm not very clear when on calls. I have the GN1200 in switch position 7. Switching to the handset or indeed the speakerphone yields much clearer results. I find it strange since I use the very same headset at work with a Cisco phone and my voice comes over perfectly clear with that phone.

According to some research on the web, noice cancelling mics (such as the one on the Jabra GN2100) can cause a slight degradation in overall quality. Does anybody have any recommendations on an alternative headset for use at home? Are there any voice tube heasets compatible with the Soundpoint 335?

Thanks

Tony

Oct 19, 2011 Question: What type of Headset's and cables are compatible with my Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Maybe its simply the wrong cable you are using?
