We recently bought some used SIP 320 and 330 handsets. One came with a 12v 2.5A power supply that says it's for a Scienftic Atlanta device. No mention of polycom on the power supply and no mention of the required voltage on the phone.

The polycom IP 331 uses a 24v power supply.

Will the 12v supply hurt my phone? Or should I go buy a 24v powersupply at  Radio Shack or ???

Hello cbornheim,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Any Polycom IP phone will contain a label on the bottom of the unit stating the amount of voltage needed.

Usually the lower end phones use 24V and the higher end ones use 48V.

I cannot recommend any non Polycom power supplies and can only advise you to contact any Polycom reseller and purchase an official Power supply.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
