The headset functioned fine for a number of months.  However, in the last few months whenever the headset was connected to the phone it short circuited the phone.  We experimented without connecting the headset, but as soon as it was connected it blew out the phone within a few hours.  Nothing changed in our setup to cause this.  The headset has always worked perfectly fine.  We have lost 5 phones in the last few months at a cost of more than $1,000.  Any advise is appreciated!  Thanks. -MK

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I have never heard of this and I can only suggest you bring this to the attention of Jabra so they can work with our Support Team to get this looked at.

 

Please ensure you provide the damaged phones to Polycom support once Jabra has raised a case with us.
