Hi Polycom,

We're using VVX411 with Plantronic USB Headset connected to the Polycom.

One thing we noticed is the headset volume memory is NOT configurable. Is there anything we can do to overcome this issue?

Regards,

ChunKeat

Hello ChunKeat,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition did you check the FAQ post here:

Jan 16, 2014 Question: How can set the Handset/Speaker/Headset volume to a persistent setting / remember the volume?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Hi Steffen,

UC Software Version: 5.5.0.20556, I'm also attaching the screenshot of the Polycom Home Page here.

I've read through this KB (FAQ), but it wasn't get updated until yesterday for VVX 411.

Anyway, If I did not want to modify the Config File, is there any way for me to configure it from VVX411 display?

Regards,

CK

Apologize for this as this is my first time browsing through Polycom Community.

Thanks Steffen, you're awesome.
