Good day,

I am new to the Polycom world, I was tasked with getting information on how to manage the personal and active directory reading on the phones, I have two models in the company and they are the VVX-410's and the VVX-600's.

We have a company that does these things for us but they are telling that what we want to do is not possible, we want to confirm and send them the information on how to have the funtions setup.

We took these phones purely because we wanted to be able to read from active directory and now we have it working.

We want to know what our opetions are for managing the personal contacts from a central location and how to set it up.

We also want the users pictures from active directory showing on the screens of the phones as well, I need to know if it is possible and how to set that up as well if possible.

Hello RH

Active Directory is described in the FAQ. The same for personal directory

You cannot use personal pictures as it is not supported

Hi Steffen,

Could you provide me a link to the FAQ in question as I have not found the link I am looking for yet.

I also found an interesting link that I would like to add as they seem to have added pictures to their profiles, please have a look and advise.

As you posted no link I could not look. We , Polycom, do not support LDAP Pictures in our currently supported software.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
