Reprograming Hold Key

If this is in the FAQs (or anywhere else), forgive me--I've scoured everything I could find and can only find "generic" information and examples, but not these particular details.

Using UCS401b on a 331/332, where can I find specific information on how to reprogram the functionality of the Hold Key? What I want to do is have the Hold Key send a particular DTMF sequence over RFC2833 only (no audio) instead of doing the normal SIP reinvite (either 0.0.0.0 or sendrecv). At a minimum, it would be OK for it to send the same DTMF sequence each time, but even better if it could "toggle" between two different DTMF sequences based on it "knowing" if it was in "hold state" or not.

If this isn't possible, what about doing a HTTP transaction?

From the information I've been able to find, including some examples that touch on this, it appears that what I'm trying to do is possible, but I just can't find all the details in one place. Any suggestions, examples, or (better yet) references to specific sections of specific downloadable documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Reprograming Hold Key

Hello 24x8,

this FAQ post => here <= explains in detail how to remap the DND Button.

The same example will apply if you have a HOLD button.

You just need to figure out the correct EFK String that you would like to send. There are plenty of EFK / Enhanced Feature Key scenarios in this community and the UCS 4.0.1 Admin Guide should have some of these as well.

This part would need to be done by yourselves or as advised in other replies via your Polycom Reseller and/or Polycom Support (PPI may occur)

Re: Reprograming Hold Key

That is useful information, but try as I may, I can not find any document that contains a list of key numbers for various phones. The UC Software Admin Guide 4.0.1 contains a section on <key/> that lists the keys, but does not show their associated key numbers. Can you point me to that for IP331 and IP450?
