Currently have both these are set for a Polycom VVX 600:

device.prov.tagSerialNo="1"
device.prov.tagSerialNo.set="1"

Which, according to the admin guide, should show the MAC address in the user agent header. However this is seemingly not the case as the returned header comes out as this:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (QtEmbedded; Android 1.0) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML, like Gecko) browser Safari/534.34 PolycomVVX-VVX_600-UA/5.4.2.0334 Type/Application\r\n

Currently the phone is running the latest software version (5.4.2.0334) as shown in the header.

Please outline how we can ensure that the MAC address will be shown in the HTTP_USER_AGENT.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your responce.

I have set the parameters corectly and I can verify on the phone that the Tag SN to UA setting is enabled, however it still does not show the MAC address in the header.

Hello TweedleChicken,

Did you reboot / restart the unit after setting this via the Web Gui?

Above is a quick test I did.

Only the GET method used by the phone to download it's Firmware appends the MAC address to my knowledge.
