Hi All,

Could somebody advise on below problem.

I have an SoundStation IP7000 which i upgradedUC software and BootROM from:

SIP Software Version 3.3.3.0069

BootROM Software Version 4.3.1.0887

to:

UC Software Version 4.0.10.0689

BootROM Software Version 5.0.8.0935

For upgrading i used a TFTP server and as intermediar step i upgraded first to BootROOM 4.4.0B and UCS 4.0.6, all update process went well, during update of course all configurations where lost and when i tried to reconfigure SIP settings and Line settings on browser i had surprise that they are not saving.. and i don't get any eror on that... i itried to save them also manualy on device but it the same. when i press the save button just returns to previous settings without saving...

Did somebody encountered this problem? what resolution did you found?

Hello Rafael,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above explains => here <= what files are needed for an IP7000.

You should be running UC Software 4.0.11 or soon, once it is released, UC Software 4.0.12

Hello Rafael,

I am unsure why you or someone else would modify the 00000000000.cfg / <mac>.cfg but you must have changed the application aka this:

sip_402.ld

it should just look for a sip.ld or a part-number.sip.ld

If you download the original files as mentioned in my FAQ post and in addition the relevant updater files the upgrade / downgrade will work.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello Rafael,

UC Software 4.1.1. is for Lync only. UC Software 4.0.11 is for openSIP

If you struggle please open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
