Hello,

We just got a SoundStation IP 7000 programmed on our Mitel 3300. The simple questions are these, can the SoundStation IP 7000 be programmed to dial an internal extension automatically without having to press the "Dial" button, just like we do with our regular extensions? Any chance the unit can grab internal dial tone when pressing the green off hook button rather than outside dial tone? Our extension range is on the 55xxx. Here's the Digitmap Assignment  programmed on the unit. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much in advance!

[2-9]11|80T|8011xxxT|8[2-9]xxxxxx|8[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxxxxx| [5]xxxxT 0T

I don't think it can do that. This SIP ohone supports eith Off-hook dialling or On-Hook Dialling.

BTW, the Digit maps only work during Off-hook dialling, i.e. when you press the green button before dialing.

Hi CL,

Your digit map does not support dialling 55xxx.

first of all it should look like this

[2-9]11|80T|8011xxxT|8[2-9]xxxxxx|8[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|9[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[5]xxxxT|0T

Its ignoring the last | [5]xxxxT because of the space I think.

Also if you remove the T (so it looks like |[5]xxxx ) it will dial immediately after the last digit is dialled.

OrinA,

Thanks for your reply. And yes, you were right when you said:

"Its ignoring the last | [5]xxxxT because of the space I think."

Now the Soundstation can dial any extension, ONLY when I press the green off hook button. So that part is taken care of. What I'd like to do is to be able to just straight up punch in the numbers and have the unit dial internally or outbout without having to hit the 'Dial" key or without having to press the green off hook button and then dialing the numbers. Would that be possible?
