Hi,

I need help on updating firmware on the deployed VVX phones automatically.

As per the current setup the VVX phones are provisioned through a FTP server. And any new Firmware or config files are updated in FTP server, the VVX phone needs to be manually rebooted to have these changes.

Since there is a huge number of phones deployed and doing it manually will take more time, we are looking for a solution, where the phone will looks for the updates in FTP server on a periodic time interval.

Please provide the config file parameters to enable this feature.

Device : Polycom VVX 201 and 301

UC Version: UC 5.5.1

Hello Adarsh P S,

A couple of your old posts => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know an answer or advice was useful and has helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

In addition in some of them we asked you to open a Service Ticket so please post that reference as well.

For your new question the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
