We recently got VVX 400 phones. We have one incoming phone line/number. When a call comes in all phones ring and call may be answered from any phone. However, I have been unable to determine how to put a call on hold so that it can then be picked up at another phone or transferred to another phone. I have read the User Guide and connot find a solution. I also have not been able to determine how to use intercom to communicate to the other VVK 400 phones in the office. It does not appear that the phones have their own extensions. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello enrisk_tx,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Polycom manufactures these phones so they can be used with a multitude of service providers, SIP switches or even Microsoft Skype for Busines or LYNC.

You should find out what service you are using and then discuss the options with whoever installed this as without knowing this we cannot recommend anything.

Most likely you also need to use the person / organisation to implement these features.

You are looking for parking a call as an example.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
