Can anyone provide me the UDP port range that Polycom VVX phones utilize for RTP?  I've read the FAQ and the Administration manuals and all forums on the topic, and i know they have documented and pointed out that any even port between 2222 and 2269 and if a video phone between 2222 and 2317 is what is used.  However I've got a VVX 601 that has been trying to communicate on ports higher than 2317.  Highest I've seen so far is 2342.  Configuration of phone has tcpIPApp.port.rtp.mediaPortRangeStart set at the default 2222.  So obviously either the documents and posts I've been reffered to are either old or incorrect.  Current software version is 5.5.1.11526.

Thank you for any and all assistance!

Hello Mjbright ,

Thanks for your post . How have you determined which RTP port the phone is using ?

Do you have a wireshark capture with you ? Can you upload it with the IP address/ mac-address of the phone for analysis ?
