Uploading log file

Hi,

I was always wondering, after i flash the phone  or change polycom server menu(for provisioning), it gives me a message - "Uploading log file", even if I flash it. the phone will contact previous boot server and give me this logs:

0705060243|app1 |3|00|DHCP returned result 0x87 from server 192.168.0.1.
0705060243|app1 |3|00| Phone IP address is 192.168.0.101.
0705060244|app1 |3|00| Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
0705060244|app1 |3|00| Gateway address is 192.168.0.1.
0705060244|app1 |3|00| DNS server is 192.168.0.1.
0705060244|app1 |4|00|Config result 0 is unexpected
0705060244|cfg |3|00|Beginning to provision phone
0705060244|copy |3|00|'ftp://PlcmSpIp:****@0.0.0.0/2345-11605-001.bootrom.ld' from '0.0.0.0'
0705060244|copy |4|00|Download of '2345-11605-001.bootrom.ld' FAILED on attempt 1 (addr 1 of 1)
0705060244|copy |3|00|transport res: 7 respCode 0
0705060244|copy |3|00|transport error: Curl Error strings have been compiled out.
0705060244|copy |3|00|transport error buffer: .
0705060244|copy |3|00|Making further download attempts for '2345-11605-001.bootrom.ld'

So, my question is, where does the phone trying to upload log file after provisioning server change, to the previous provisioning server?

Thank you.

Re: Uploading log file

Hello nikita,

there is no need to post a follow up question if your post has not been answered yet as people will either answer or not.

The Phone will upload the log to the previous set server if the server has been changed until the phone reboots. Once rebooted it will upload the log to the newly specified server.

What issue are you experiencing that prompted you to post here?

Best regards

Steffen Baier
