Our office has just installed the VVX 400/410 and we cannot transfer a call to another person and talk to the person before the transfer completes.  We have repeatedly tried the friendly transfer but can't make it work.  Also, we can't communicate from extension to extension, we can't even pickup the handset and dial another extension and talk.  Help!  Does anybody have any suggestions for fixing this?

Who did install these phones for you and would that company or person not the best to address these questions to?

 

You have not provided any details if this is a SIP or LYNC setup.

 

I am not sure what you mean by friendly transfer either.

 

The VVX userguide => here <= describes the different scenarios.
