We are a TELCO that is delpoying VVX 410 phones.

I am curious about suppressing phone warnings.

We frequently will deploy phones for a customer that has several locations & will be served by different WAN connections.

The devices on site that are the DHCP servers will assign IPs that are in the 10.10.10 range

This means that we can have a phone at customer's location "A" with an IP of 10.10.10.10 the location "B" can have a phone with the same IP

This is seems to be throwing an alarm at the phone about a duplicate IP address.

The phone maintains function

The info provided by the phone shows us the other MAC address that is in conflict.

We are wondering if there is a way to suppress this error as we are not wanting to change our DHCP IP scheme.

Hello GWIMaine,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Phone sends a ARP after completing the complete DORA DHCP sequence.

This is a standard and cannot be disabled to my knowledge.

If the phone receives an ARP response from any other endpoint having the same IP address then the phone sends a DHCP Decline message.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
