A soft Key "PARK CALL" is already programmed into the phone with action " $FHold$#58 "

This action places a call on park on the next available line.

(The action above places a call on hold and then on park in one swift move)

However only 2 active calls max can be existing on any phone and when the calls are at capacity the Soft Key fails to place any calls on park

The call does go on hold however and the # key is what fails. the only buton that works when all calls are on hold is the * key. It is understood that *68 can be used to place a call on park howver you must enter a number to park on or enter *68# to place a call on park on that particular phone. The intention is to place a call on Park on the next available location so this is excluded as an option

Is there a way to enable use of #, 5, 8 keys whilst all maximum call capacity is on hold?

I have already tried  $FHold$$FDialpadPound$$FDialpad5$$FDialpad8$ to no avail

Hello AU User,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition the EFK does not know about the hold / park state or any limitations so I doubt you can do this. You can maybe work with 2 separate keys.

All a EFK does is to Macro the actual actions that you manually would do.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
