Hi,

 

i'm preparing a CR to upgrade the software on an RMX 1500 from 7.7.0.158 to 8.2.0.85.  I only find a means to backup the config.  Is there a way to backup the whole box?  I do not find any documentation on that...

Peter,

 

The menu is Administration > Software Management > backup configuration. While this does not backup the entire RMX like you mentioned, it does backup the entire RMX application. In case of a hardware failure, you would simply replace the hardware and restore your backup. There is not much value to back up the OS anyway.
