Hello,

I need to add another endpoint to a VMR using the codec user interface. For example being in VMR 4444, I need to dial a number to add another codec (example 764567) in that meeting room.
Anybody knows any workaround to do that? (Starcodes, dialing something, etc)?

Hello G14np13r0

What RMX software version do you use?

You can use the Invite Participant  RMX's feature. A participant in a video or audio conference can invite another participant to the conference using the touch-tone DTMF numeric keypad on the participant’s endpoint.

for more information take a look at

RMX Getting Started Guide 8.3  p.170

RMX Administrator's Guide 8.3 p. 587

Note: Invite Participants features are disabled in SVC and mixed CP and SVC conferences.

This is the feature of the RMX used by DMA VMR for creating conference. Take a look at RMX Admin Guide -> 'IVR Services' ->  'Inviting Participants using DTMF' for more details. The default DTMF code for invite is *72 (and #72 for disconnect) so for inviting 764567 you have to dial DTMF *72764567#.

Hope this could help.
