Hello!

I have a question about Polycom RMX 4000 logs. We using that server for big conferences - about 90 participants in 1-2 instances. The problem is that participants randomly disconnects in large quantities, sometimes 20-30 participants can disconnect in one moment.

I'm using "Information Collector" to collect all logs from server, but i can't open the log in folder   "LogFiles" - there some problem with encoding:

So any ideas how to open that log?

Hello Antonv,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Usually I would expect the Logs to be downloaded via Administration => Tools => Logger Diagnostic Files

You select the time fram you want to look at and then open the text files.

Most likely Polycom support needs to investigate so ensure that these are not overwritten.

In addition it is also useful to post the currently used Software Version and maybe if you use LYNC or H.323

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
