Hello,

In my company I have the integration between RMX and Lync Servers and it works perfectly when I connect users inside of the network's company, but I can´t connect users that are outside of the network.

I was searching information about the integration and someone told me if I need connect remote users, the video network must have installed a VBP- E and a VBP-ST.

Can somebody tell me if I need install the VBP series for make it possible the connection of the remote users through Lync?

Regards,

Vero,

We don't support video over SIP through the VBP. The normal call flow is to take advantage of your Lync Edge deployment which can allow this type of access.

Thank you so much!!

VBP is just a H.323 firewall sitting in DMZ which will not have integration with Lync. But if you want a H.323 based VC to make a call to Lync client, then you dail publicip##meeting prifix from H.323 endpoint and then from Lync client you just dial the meeting room.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
