License for RMX 1500

Hi,all

Hope you help me about license of RMX 1500. I have two RMX 1500 with a license 10 HD. We have just bought more Polycom endpoints, about 25 Polycom HD. When   more than 10 Polycom HD connect to RMX, RMX is busy. So I want to ask you, Which license I can buy to conect to RMX with more than 20 HD or full HD.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

A Polycom reseller should be consulted as you cannot buy a license directly from Polycom.

I know that, but i want to ask if i need more license,  Can RMX 1500 support 20 HD endpoints ? and if i need buy more 10HD license only or buy 20 HD license replace 10 HD licence.

Hello @faxudu,

This completely depends what MPM card you have and if you want 1080 or 720.

 

As an example the 8.5 RMX 1500 Hardware Guide from our support page contains a table for this on page 4 or looking at the 8.5 Administrator Guide a similar table can be found on page 710.

 

I suggest you work with a Polycom reseller as already advised as it is not an easy answer to give as this all depends on what exact model and configuration you have.
