Hello Everyone,

I have a doubt about integration. I have an MGC -25, five VSX 7000 endpoints and two HDX 7000 endopoints. My question is, it can be possible integrate all polycom videoconferencing network to Cisco Call manager?

HDX software version 3.0.5-22695

VSX software version 9.0.1

Cisco call manager software version 9.1.1.20000-5

It is possible integrate the MGC, VSX and HDX to Cisco call manager? if is so possible, What i need to do this?

Actually it works though the road to the retarded solution is nowhere to be found on any manual, as it is typical for both Cisco and Polycom 🙂

1. Create a room in MGC and the room number is the critical thing: that number will latter be referenced in the CCM dialing pattern

2. Create a dial-peer in any router:

dial-peer voice 125 voip
tone ringback alert-no-PI
preference 1
destination-pattern 3644
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind alert enable 8
voice-class codec 1
session target ipv4:192.168.248.32
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
no vad

That's it; and yes my room number is 3644 and the IP span of the MGC-25 is 192.168.248.32

Of course in my case 3644 is a valid DID pushed to the SAME router via it's PRI interface so that outside people can also join the conference just as in-house folk. If you put a password on your room then IVR will ask the caller for the password - pretty respectible out of the box functionality.

Rats I was about to include a little screen shot; oh well here it is anyway; keep us posted whether you got it working with your CCM implementation.
