MOVED POST FROM => here <= by Mod

Don't know if it'll help, (I just started working with these RMXs about 3 days ago, and that was the first time) - but in ours (RMX-1500) ANY time we go into the setup of the unit, even if all we are there for is to look at settings and push cancel afterwords.  The unit gets very angry and has a nasty red alert that a restart is required.

The only way I've been able to clear the alert has been to restart the thing.  Not pleasent at all, since it takes about half a day to just come back online after one of the restarts.

I haven't found a way to clear the alerts in the UI, but I'm not entirely impressed by the UI either (Can't find inactive conferences ANYWHERE removed by mod).

Hello usslindstrom,

I would recommend to work with your Polycom Partner or Polycom Support as these are trained and qualified to diagnose the issue occurring on your RMX.

I have split your post from the original post as you have not posted your current Software Version and your System is a RMX1500 and not a RMX2000 as the original Post.

Best Regards

Thank you for the assistance.

This particular post was not reporting a problem, only adding additional information to the previous poster's alert messages.  The UI does not have any way to clear any alert messages that pop up, and unfortunately, even just viewing settings creates an entry with a big bright red symbol that says a system restart is required (Even though it's really not).

I was just adding that in order for us to work around the system alerts that way, that we restart our unit - and it clears the system alerts messages out.

Thanks.
