Hi All,

can we mapped our RMX with public ip users who lands without alias path.is it possible??

Please suggest.

if you have vbp e, then configure the vbp as a emberded gatekeeper. wan side with be Public IP , register the rmx with VBP with prefix, (say prefix is 2 meeting room 555). from internet u just call publicip##2555.

I am unsure of the exact requirement or details in above post but you would usually dial conference_id@signalling IP.

Please check the RMX Admin Guide matching your unknown Software Version for more details.

i mean if some one dial our public ip's they lands on our RMX stright a way.we have a 3 nos vbp 5500 and single unit of vbp 5300 st box.

is it possiblle or not??

Yash,

Yes it is possible for someone to dial just the WAN side IP address and land on the RMX. For this you will need to enter the RMX prefix and EQ ID in the default alias field on the VBP. The default alias will get used when no alias has been supplied.

made the same as per sugessted but now alias dial string on particular EP is not working and DMA generated VMR for RMX is not working for external users.
