I recentlu (and successfully) upgraded my RMX 1500 to version 7.8.0.246 software.  Sometime after that we encounterd a problem connecting to conferences on th eunit, so as part of troubleshooting I rolled it back to 7.7.0.158.  Turns out the problem was with another Cisco device.  I've tried to apply the upgrade again but it doesn't go past copying the file up to the unit.  It then just disconnects and sits there.  You can reconnect, and the system alerts say it's uploading the version file but nothing ever happens.  You have to reet the hardware to bring it back on line.

I'ev tried the process via the Manager and browser with the same results.  Any flags anywhere that need to be cleared (or the like)?

I'm not sure I can help your regarding your rollback/upgrade procedures, my apologies.

However I'm curious what problems you had when going from 7.7 to 7.8.  I also had trouble with Tandberg/Cisco endpoints connecting to the RMX after the upgrade.  I believe I had to turn down the bit rate on each endpoint to 768 kbps for them to actually connect..it was annoying.

Similar issue?

Since then we've rolled back to 7.7 because 7.8 was just too buggy concerning Lync clients.

We ran into an issue with clients not connecting correctly to conferences on the RMX.  It turned out to be a problem with a setting on the VCS Control.  I'd like to take the RMX back to 7.8 but have not been able to.
