We currently have a RMX 2000 setup as a H323 gateway on our Cisco CM enviroment.  Which works.  you call the extension then enter a room and it will do all the video conferencing.

Is there a way to use it as a conference resource so it's more of an automatic way to conference people in?

TIA

Scott

Scott,

If I understand your question, you want to do scheduled conferencing on the RMX. This is totally doable, both ad-hoc and ahead of time. In the RMX gui, there is a section under frequently used called "Reservations," if you go to that page it will bring up a calendar page and you can schedule conferences by  selecting a time on the calendar, adding participants (either manually by alias/IP, or by dragging them from your address book) and choosing a conference profile.

At the appointed time, the RMX will dial out to all of those participants and start the conference automatically. You can also create one-off conferences by right clicking in the active conferences window and selecting new conference. Then you can choose a conference profile and add participants, and it will begin immediately.
