We currently have about 100 Lync users with desktop video that call into virtual bridge rooms on the RMX. When they call into the RMX, the audio is often received a second or more before the video. The problem comes and goes, but Polycom support/engineers have been unable to resolve the issue over the past month or more.  Users are very disctracted by this issue.

Also, the problem does NOT exist on Lync multiparty video calls that are hosted on the Lync MCU rather than the RMX.

Anyone else seeing similar issues?

One might think to consider whether QoS is enabled on the network, both on the Lync server, as well as, the data network itself.

Lync can either use Policies for establishing QoS or by enabling DSCP itself.

What settings are configured on Lync for QoS?  Is QoS enabled on the RMX?

If QoS is enabled on the RMX, are the corresponding QoS entries (QOS_IP_AUDIO, QOS_IP_VIDEO, QOS_IP_SIGNALING) entered in the system flags?

Jeff, we enabled QoS across the network and the Lip Sync problem did not disappear.

Is anyone else having this issue?
