Hi Falks,

we have this deployment as:

DX650_IP Video Phone==SIP==>CUCM=====SIP_Trunk=====>DMA======H323=====Groupseries

when dialing from GS to the RMX1500 and inviting participant *72 using DTMF to cisco ip video phone, i receive his audio/video but he only receive Audio without video!!

The working scenarios are:

1.when dialing p2p , it work video/audio for both sites.

2. when adding the ip video phone as participant on the RMX and dial-out it work for both audio/video.

CUCM config as doucmented, MTP are prevented as mentioned and no DTMF signaling configured on CUCM.

is there any compatability issue with Cisco when RMX send DTMF signaling to the Cisco IP video Phone?

Thanks,

Yeah, i'm pretty sure if I am reading correct you are running into the following issue:

RMX will only send DTMF as G.711 in-band encoded in the audio stream....not as in-band RFC 2833. Cisco phone is probably looking for RFC 2833 flavor DTMF or out of band DTMF. RMX can receive DTMF RFC 2833 which leads me to beleive this is why phone can come inbound but you are having issues originating at RMX

Hope this helps a little
