With our Codian bridge, someone could join a video conference from a telephone using audio-only.  When someone would call in from a phone, the Codian would display a yellow telephone icon in the top right of the Video conference so that other participants were aware that a audio caller was listening in.

Is there a way to something similar to this on the RMX 2000 VMRs?  Management is concerned that anyone could call into board meeting calls and listen in.  How can we show a name or on-screen indicator?

Hi,

as far as i am aware you will not be able to visibly see people who dials in on audio, except on the RMX itself.

what you can do is add security to your VMR by setting the IVR services up in such a way to prompt for a password.

create the new IVR service then create a conference profile that uses that IVR service. then create a VMR that uses that conference profile.

this way only people who have the password can join meetings.
