RMX on version 8.4.
I would need participants to get dropped when accessing a conference if chairperson has´t joined yet almost once time.
Participants´re accessing a gathering place, just waiting for chairman to start the conference.
In my scenario, by desing there are several ranges of valid conference IDs.
Problem: many participants call a wrong ID, and stay waiting on a wrong conference.
Thanks and regards!
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I can only suggest to check the RMX Admin Guide 8.4 and verify against the profiles you are using for this conference that the Enabled Gathering Phase is disabled.
More details can be found in this Admin Guide which can be found => here <=

Thanks for your quick response. It´s useful and informative.
But, excuse me, I misunderstood the concept of gathering phase.
I didn´t described correct scenario. Correct would be the following:
- With gathering phase disabled.
- With IVR option "Conference Requires Chairperson" --> enabled.
If I understand correctly, normal operation would be that until chairperson access the conference, any participant that tries to access the confererence, gets in a holding queue, where participants can´t ear or speak each other.
So the question would be:
Is it possible to drop participants who enter this "holding queue", and maintain the option "Conference Requires Chairperson " enabled? Instead of holding participants and playing them locution "Please wait the chairperson to join and start the conference"
Please, correct me if I´m wrong,
If a participant enters a conference ID for a conference set for Requires Chairperson they are moved to the selected destination conference but are both audio and video muted. It is not a special "holding queue".
If the participant entered the wrong conference ID and thus joined anincorrect conference there is notheing the RMX can do to detect that. They are put into the conference they asked for.
