Equipment

  • RMX2000 with ISDN blade             * RMX - A
  • RMX2000 IP only                             * RMX - B
  • DMA 7000

Scenario

The two RMX 2000 are registered with the DMA 7000 so that the DMA manages the VMR.

The RMX2000 with the ISDN blade is configured with a gateway profile to turn a PSTN call into a VOIP call and pass it on to the DMA 7000, the DMA 7000 creates a conference on one of the bridges and connects the call to that meeting.

Questions

  1. When a PSTN call comes in via the RMX – A’s gateway profile and the DMA creates the conference on RMX-A, how many resources will the call use in total (Including the Gateway call and the conference connection from DMA) ?
  2. When a PSTN call comes in via the RMX – A’s gateway profile and the DMA creates the conference on RMX-B, how many resources will the call use in total (Including the Gateway call and the conference connection from DMA) ?
