I've seen a few topics on this, but the one directly requesting roughly the same info had no answers.

 

On a RMX I want to use g711a NOT g711u. The SDP from the source devices (several systems) all state G711a as their preffered CODEC, but the RMX insists on negotiating u-law. Is there anyway to promote a-law in the RMX list of preffered CODECS? 

All that's stated in other posts and manuals is the RMX chooses the best, but if a-law is the preferred Codec, surely it  should go with that?
