Hi,

With a Polycom RMX2000, I want to be able to broadcast a conference A/V in realtime through an existing live media services network to several PCs.

What is the most efficient way to achieve this?

Thanks/Brgds

Hi - the best way would be to use RealPresence Media Suite. With Media Suite a user can easily start or create a live-broadcast from its virtual meeting room on the RMX. It is also possible to use the "recording link" feature in the RMX to automatically initiate a recording or live broadcast. After the live-broadcast, the recordings is also automatically available via the user portal.

What do you mean with live media services network? is that something which exists already internally?

Media Suite can be integrated into external Content Delivery Networks for broadcast distribution (Akamai, Verizon Edgecast).

Furthermore, an internal CDN can be created with Media Suite.

Thanks,

David
