We are encountering bugs when attempting to terminate certain conferences.
When attempting to terminate the conference or it's participants via the RMX Manager, the following error message appears:
Failed to delete Conference: Terminating the conference
It makes no difference if we try terminating using an admin account or even the SUPPORT account.
We have encountered this problem on another RMX running the exact same software.
Upon reviewing the CDRs for the call, you can see the attempts made to terminate the call by the operators/admins.
In addition, while the conference seems active with connected participants, in reality the participants are not connected, you cannot dial into the meeting room (but you can add new participants manually using the RMX Manager) and the call does use resources even though it's not active.
A few questions:
- Is this a known issue with version 18.104.22.168?
- Is there a way around this without performing a reboot to the RMX or its Media Card?
Apprecite the help!
It's occasionally an issue for us on a later 7.8 release code. Only fix is to do a hardware reset on the RMX (reboot).
Please take a time and complain about it with a support ticket.
Out of pure curiosity (and before I actually hit the release notes for newer revisions), did you manage to resolve this?
I am experiencing the same issue and i want to avoid a reboot at this time.
Currently we've found additional bugs running the 22.214.171.124 version (build 013), so we've switched to build 133 and this seems to be stable so far.
In addition, note that this build fixes a weird bug with the volume bar for any given participant.
Volume bar issue:
Whenever the listening volume is increased to level 7 or level 10, the audio cuts out and the participant no longer hears anything from the conference.
Any other volume level works fine.
Build 133 fixes the above as well.
