Hello,

i   have polycom RMx 2000 and i made an ISDN connecivity to my RMX , but it is showing he status as MAJOR , and span status as RED ALERT..

The alert generated at the bottom says NO CLOCK SOURCE.

In one of your discussion regarding the same issue , you have suggested to add flag..ISDN CLOCK SOURCE =YES.

I am unable to add the flag also

kindly help me regarding the issue.

Having at least one clock source is mandatory for ISDN connections. NO CLOCK SOURCE alert indicates that the system could not use any of the connected ISDN spans as clock source. You have to contact with your provider for more details.

The flag you refer to is "SYSTEM_NORMAL_WITH_SINGLE_CLOCK_SOURCE = YES" and is used to avoid the Red Alarm when only one span is connected.

Twice replies to your post have advised you to report this to Polycom support via your Polycom reseller.

The only way for yourself to receive support in this matter is to contact support as outlined above.
