How to import the Company phonebook into the Kirk 2010 Handset

Hello everybody,

I've just installed a Polycom Wireless Server 6000 with 2 basestations.

The customer bought 7 Kirk 2010 handsets.

I created a .csv file with 35 frequently used phonenumbers, here is a example of the .csv file:

"THUIS",0416123456

"**bleep**",0416123456

"john",0612345678

"john mobile",0416123456

"jantje smit",0612345678

I imported the .csv via the web console (administration / phonebook)

When i look into the log file, i see:

"Phonebook has retrieved 34 records"

But when i open the phonebook on a kirk 2010 handset, i don't see any contacts.

Is it possible to use the "company phonebook" with a Kirk 2010??

If it isn't possible, is there a other way to edit the phonebooks of the kirk 2010 handsets?

Thanks

Michiel Peeters

Hello Michiel,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The 2010 Handset is an entry level Handset and is unable to import the Phone Book as described in this Guide => here <=

You have to manually add the phone numbers.

Best regards
