IP Base Registration Failed on Server 6000

Hi all
We have a KWS6000 and some IP base

Firmware of KWS6000 is PCS12BC

Firmware of IP Base is PCSPCS10Aa

When IP base tries to register itself on KWS6000 get an error: Server expected protocol version 5, RFP supports protocol version 4

I suppose we need to upgrade firmware on IPBase (and KWS?) but on portal we not have access to latest versions...

Please help us.

Thanks in advantage

Regards

Re: IP Base Registration Failed on Server 6000

Hello everyone,

we have the same issue , the log file says:

Rejecting RFP(192.168.30.93) Expected protocol version 4, got 5.

Our Kirk Wireless Server 6000 firmware is PCS12__ and our Kirk Base Station firmware is PCS12C_

what is the solution? the support site is not letting us download older or newer versions.

Hello 3net-tech,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

As replied previously you must contact your Polycom Reseller who you purchased your Polycom equipment from to get access to the Software Version you require.

The Software cannot be downloaded from a public server.

This is part of the KIRK Software assurance as listed => here <= and the partner who sold you the KIRK kit must supply you with the software.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
