Re: IP6000 vs ShoreTel

Hello gipi,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Guessing you mean the KWS6000 and not the SSIP6000.

Please see the press release => here <=

The KIRK Wireless Server Interoperability can be found => here <=

Best regards

Re: IP6000 vs ShoreTel

hello Steffen,

thank you for reply.

I am  searching  for a case of integration KWS6000/ShoreTel because I have a customer with a lot of problems.

I am a ShoreTel certified Partner and in this moment I have a service request opened with their TAC.

But in six month have not found the good solution.

Only a lot of upgrades...(-:

The problem is that Polycom causes a memory leak on the proxy sip of ShoreTel.

So, in two weeks the system go down for the consumption of the memory free.

The workaround is a scheduled restart of the system but the customer is very angry for this.

thank you again

Re: IP6000 vs ShoreTel

Hello Gipi,

I would recommend to work with your Polycom KIRK reseller and/or Polycom support and get Shoretel to work with Polycom Support in addition.

What Software Versions are being used on the Shoretel Side and on the KWS6000 in order to keep the Information preserved in the Community for other Users?

Best regards

Re: IP6000 vs ShoreTel

Hello Steffen,

A service request with Polycom was not opened because the wireless server seems to work fine and only the ShoreTel Proxy go down for a crash.

Also,  we are certified partner of ShoreTel and not Polycom.

Now I want try with our reseller for a ticket.

Answer to your question:

ShoreTel uses release 11.2 (the last for the moment)

Polycom uses release PCS08__ (I think there is a newer version)

many thanks again
