KIRK 6000 Active Directory access base DN

Base DN for ldap search doesn't work with Active Directory top level container. Connection with

OU=CH,DC=customer,DC=local works fine but the connection with

DC=customer,DC=local fails with error message "ldap_search_ext_s: ldap://customer.local: Operations error".

The customer has following structure in his AD (example):

DC=local

        |__ DC=customer

                |__CH

                |__DE

                |__FR

And we have to access all 3 OUs CH, DE and FR

Re: KIRK 6000 Active Directory access base DN

Hello willi,

the LDAP integration on the KWS6000 is based on openLDAP. I can only suggest to check with the openLDAP community in order to verify if such string is possible or work via your Polycom reseller to get support from the Polycom KIRK support team.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
