KIRK 6020 an Siemens Hi Path

Hallo,

how i can connect the Kirk 6020 Handset to a Siemens Hi Path.

I see the Hi Path entry under the Login -> Create login menu point.

Then ,the handset will the AC Code and a User ID.

I typed the HiPath pincode in AC Code but the Handset will not connected.

What is the mistake?

Re: KIRK 6020 an Siemens Hi Path

Hello polytom,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Polycom KIRK handset's are GAP compatible and should therefore be able to subscribe to a 3rd party DECT GAP vendors system.

Please liaise with Siemens directly in order to check what would prevent this handset from subscribing to their system.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Re: KIRK 6020 an Siemens Hi Path

Hallo,

the admin of our telephone infra said, that the polycom kirk 6020 has not the GAP standard ???!

.. and the siemens HICOMM doesn't work with polycom handsets.

Is that correct?

What is the AC Code und the USER-ID in the polycom handset's.

kind regards

Re: KIRK 6020 an Siemens Hi Path

Hello Polytom,

the KIRK DECT Handset's are GAP compatible as KIRK with many others is part of the founders of the DECT technology.

The Authentication Code (AC) Code usually on a HiPath system is a 8 digit code and is assigned to a extension and you need to check with the Administrator of the HiPath what the AC code for this subscription is.

If you struggle to register this Handset to a HiPath I can only advise you to contact your Polycom reseller from whom you have purchased this unit.

Best Regards
