MGC 50 and RMX1500

Hello!

Tell me please - are MGC 50 and RMX1500 servers compatible with each other?

Can we make connect between these devices, via ethernet, in order to create a multi-users videoconference?

Thank you!

Yes, the RMX1500 and MGC are compatable (Assuming you have a IP card in your MGC, of course).  Generally, we list the things we test with each product in the release notes; see http://downloads.polycom.com/bridging_collab/rmx/relnotes/RMX_Release_Notes_V_8_1_CP.pdf in this case.

To  see how to cascade two bridges, look in RMX 1500 admin guide, chapter 5 (Cascading)

http://supportdocs.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/global/documents/support/user/products/network...

Of course, It's strongly recommended to upgrade to current versions, MGC to 9.0.4.3 and RMX 1500 to 8.17.35

Finally, it's worth noting that the MGC is past end of sale.  End of service varies depending on the MGC models/parts between 2013 and 2016; so please start budgeting for upgrades...
