Hello
We sometimes have the problem that a notebook can connect though to the CX5100, but it's not really stable during the sesssion (it just disconnects sometimes). It doesn't depends on the notebook model, because it happens with all our notebooks (Lenovo X1 Carbon, T570, T560, etc.). Now we have found an USB Driver (http://support.polycom.com/content/support/North_America/USA/en/support/voice/cx/cx5100.html) for the CX5100 and before we gonna try to deploy this in our environment, we would like to know if this USB Driver would help to make it more stable... (all our Notebook run with Windows 10 (Build 1607 and 1703))
If you need further information, just post your question
With best regards
Maximilian Schäfer

Hello @ADC,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I believe this driver is not needed for "normal" installations as this is only used if Windows is supposed to update the software.
As already outlined in my original private message to yourself are you using the originally supplied USB cables or anything different or longer?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
