We are using a LDAP structure to built a directory tree structure with Groups. We have the endpoints assigned to Rooms the the Rooms assigned to a group. This works but we have not been able to assign Guest Book entries to a group. The Group are assigned a address book that t has the Guest Book entries associated to it. There does not appear to be a way to assign to the Group a Room that will show the Guest entries on the Endpoint directory .

Structure for the Endpoint directory is:

Private stations

     Private bridges

Public stations

     Public bridges

The address book is tiered the same way:

Private stations

    Private bridges

Public stations

    Public brides

The Groups are:

Private stations assigned to the address book tier "Private stations"

Private bridges assigned to "Private bridges" in the address book tier.

The public stations and bridges are assigned to the correct tier in the address book.

Is there a way to get the Guest book entries assigned to the bridge groups that will use the RMX?

And YES the check box to show the Guest book in the directory has been checked.

CMA version : 6.2.4.ER8, Hardware Version Rev C.

Endpoints 4500 and 8000 .

I'm seeing the same thing. The only way I've found so far is to manually add them to the Favorites on each endpoint.

You can only assign users to a group. For the address book, you need to populate the guests directly to the address book itself (Associate the following guests to the address book). I just checked both the CMA and RPRM, and they both have this option for the address book.

The RPRM also has the option: Allow endpoint directories for local users to include enterprise directory user and group information. Having this checked as allows for the opposite direction: enterprise users can now see local directory entries.
