Hi Guys,

i'm doing some fine tuning on our CMA4000 - CMAD - REalpresence Mobile deployment. Let me give you some genereal infos before:

CMA version 6.0.3, CMAD: 5.2.3 and latest release of realpresence mobile.

CMA integrated in AD and SSO for CMAD and realpresence mobile

I can login with my username and password on both CMA-D and Realpresence mobile at same time, so users who want to contact me can search my name in directory and add me in their contact list.

Whats the issue:

, i'm pretty sure that on a previous installation (for customers) i have seen a pop up window when placing  a call from CMAD to antoher users in your buddy list logged on both CMA-D and realpresence mobile. Too bad i can't replicate it here 🙂

If i add a contact in my buddy list i just get presence if he is logged on CMA-D and once he login, calls are always routed on CMA-D ( call detail does not even include Realpresence mobile choice).

Do you have any advice?

Thanks

Just a few more informations... i'm considering users having 2 associated devices. ie if i check "user a" details i see:

associated endpoints CMAD e RPM

dial string reservations: Different aliases for  CMAD and RPM

Thanks

Hello Daniel,

as far as I am aware only CMAD supports presence.

Real Presence Mobile, Real presence Desktop or m100 do not offer presence.

Best Regards

Hi Stef,

i guess i found the solution, if you add a contact in your buddy list calls are always routed to the device supporting presence ( CMA-D in this case).
On the other hand if you look  for the same user on the directory and you press "call" (you don't have to add him on your buddy list) then you are prompted to choose on which device you want to call that user ( it's a pop up)... of course you wont have any info about specific device presence.. so calls may fail.
