Our CMA 5000 is sitting on v5.5.0 ER19, the documentation that comes with the v6 and v5.5.0 restore disks clearly states in bold that:

"Note:  The only versions of CMA 5.5.0 that can be used with this pre-upgrade patch are CMA 5.5.0.1 and CMA 5.5.0.2."

I can only find CMA5.5.0 patch 5 on the downloads site, so I called Polycom Support and they couldn't confirm if 5.5.0.5 is OK to use the pre upgrade patch on, they are calling back next Wednesday 2nd Jan on this when their specialists can answer my question, I was hoping to carry the upgrade out before our offices open though, eg today Sat 29 Dec : (

Does anyone have or know where I can get the CMA 5.5.0.2 patch from as I can't see it on the Polycom Support Downloads or ftp site. Polycom Support couldn't point me in the right direction either.

Or if someone has successfully experienced using the pre upgrade patch on CMA 5.5.0.5 or CMA 5.5.0 ER19, can you confirm the upgrade path you took.

Thanks and have a great New Year : )

I will also be upgrading from 5.5.0 ER19 to 6.0 next week sometime. From what I have read, after backing up your system databases, you install the preupgrade patch which gives you the ability to do a complete backup. Then use the 6.0 disk to re-image the CMA and complete the fist time setup. Shouldn't be too bad.
