HI all,

one of my customer is registering the SX 20 with the CMA 4000.

the reigstration showing inactive in the SX configuration  . but the CMAD is able to call to the SX unit with Aliase.

Is there any known issue or suggestion that can help undersdtand the issue .

CMA version 6.2

What does the SX20's endpoint status look like in the CMA4000?  It could be the RRQ from the SX20 is getting to the CMA but the CMA's RCF is not getting back to the SX20.  The CMA might have the SX20 registered and knows how to route when the CMAD dials the alias.  Packet captures/logs might need to be looked at in both the SX20 and the CMA to see exactly what is happening.

Actually, in the .JPG you shared, H.323 is INACTIVE, indicating OFF.  The SIP status is not visible, but must be what is used for the call.

Thnx,

as a troubleshooting, i would ask the customer to connect the sx20 on same subnet and check if that is successfull GK registration.

may be the network is blocking the request handshake.

but i see there is no exact reason for not registration successfully.

If H.323 service is not activated in the SX20 System Configuration then the screenshot you show is normal. The H.323 gatekeeper registration will NOT be attempted/active and IP address empty if not populated.  If SIP service is activated, pointed to the CMA4000 and registered successfully, then it should show REGISTERED under the SIP Protocol status and SIP calls able to be placed using aliases.
