Hello,

I have recently bought a used Polycom VBP5300-E10. The manual says that you're supposed to connect your PC to the VBP with preprogrammed IP settings in order to configure it. When I do that, the PC can't identify to the device. I can't get access to the serial port, and when I connect the VGA output at the back to a monitor, it says "reboot or select proper boot device", which would indicate to me that there's a problem with the VBP. Can you advise?

Thanks,

BM3000

Hello,

have you tried to reset the system to factory defaults?

  • Press the Erase button three times in quick succession to reset the system to factory defaults.  This will reset all passwords and erase all prior configurations.  The default LAN address will be 192.168.1.1.

Regards
