I'm extremely new to RPRM, I just installed it last week and I have managed to get a phone to connect to it and I can see it in the Endpoint > Monitor View page but when I click its name so I can assign policies and such nothing happens. I can see the name is underlined and blue like a link but clicking it causes nothing to happen. I have tried it in both Chrome and IE and neither works.
Since this is so new to me it could be completely my fault but I'm not sure why this particular step isn't working.

Martin,
I had this recently happen to me while helping another customer. By default when you install RPRM, you log into as the admin user. But, by default, the admin does not have device admin rights. So you need to go under Users, edit the Admin user and add the device administrator role to the user. Then log out and back in. Now when you click the blue link, it will actually take you to the endpoint's manage portal.
Why this has to be done is beyond me which is why I don't answer why questions. 🙂

Hello @Martin Palmer,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
Please provide this for the RPRM and the Trio in this case.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is usually stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .
In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
Its usually either Endpoint Group Association or Configuration Profile Association which can be assigned.
Its not super easy to explain this via the medium of a community forum as someone should have a basic understanding of the RPRM and how you assign these profiles etc.
Is this some proof of concept installation or have you got access to anyone from Polycom that could help you instead?
I have not yet had time to create an FAQ on this.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
