When a user is logging into the CMA Desktop it is making his E164 dial string his phone extension + 1 (82611) digit after when it should only be his phone extension (8261).  I have deleted the entry out of the endpoint section and had him try again but it still made it 82611.

I have also pulled up his user and manually tried to set the Dial String Reservations for E164 as 8261.  Once I hit apply I get a Duplicate Alias error and it will not let me reserve it.

Obviously 8261 is cached somewhere but I can not find it to delete it.  Can someone point me in the correct direction?

Assuming you have CMA ver. 6.2.x (with Enhanced Management of E.164 Numbering) try to do:

1. Exit CMAD

2. In EndPoint > Monitor View: delete EP associated with the User

3. In User > Users > [User of Interest] > Edit:

3.1. In General Info > Phone Number: Set desired E.164 (8261 in your case)

3.2. In Dial String Reservation: clear ALL fields

3.3. 'OK' (not 'Apply'!)

4. In Admin > Dial Plan and Sites > E.164 Numbering Sceme:

4.1. Prefix = No Prefix

4.2. Base Field = Use Phone Number

4.3. Max number of digits = 4 (in your case)

4.4. Suffix = No Suffix

4.5. 'Update'

5. Log in CMAD

6. Enjoy the result
